USA to Thailand: Makeup

I'm taking a trip to Thailand to visit a friend at the end of this month. The friend I'm visiting is originally from Thailand, but moved to the U.S. to attend school. I met her when we both worked in the same retail store. Recently she had to move back to Thailand and I decided to pay her a visit. 

I have been to Thailand in the past, with another friend that we both met at the same store. I spent a month visiting Bangkok, Phuket, Chang Mai and many other provinces in Thailand. I loved visiting the first time and cant wait to go back for a visit again. 

I asked my friend is there was anything from the U.S. that she misses or wants me to pick up for her. She originally said she might want some drugstore makeup that she can't get in Thailand, but settled on some MAC lipsticks instead.

I decided to put together a gift bag of some products that the U.S. has, but that you cannot get in Thailand. I searched the web and couldn't find anything that said what type/brands of U.S.products that you cannot find in Thailand. So I decided to just put together a bag of the most hyped about makeup products as a gift and a thank you for letting me stay with them.

This is what I got.

Maybelline 'Baby Lips' in "Grape Vine"

Maybelline 'Color Tattoo 24 Hour' Eyeshadow in "Bad to the Bronze"

Maybelline 'Baby Lips' in "Cherry Me"

Milani 'Baked Blush' in "Luminoso"

I put everything all together in this cute mint green cosmetic bag with metallic gold hearts from Forever 21


This will be a small token of appreciation for being so hospitable to me on this trip. Is there anything that I"m missing? Do you know what US brands are hard to find in Thailand or are overpriced in there?

Saw this on my drive home from work today. This brings up so many questions. Who made this? Where was it before? Where is it going? Who needs a  giant statue of a man and woman dancing? Who are the man and woman? Should I know who they are? Who is she looking at?
